My business is to help your business succeed by writing
copy that works for you.
My process makes it easy, whether you hire me as a website
copywriter or advertising copywriter:
Us: Initial Phone Meeting
We nail down project details in a phone meeting: goal, purpose,
audience, first draft deadline, etc.
You: Background Materials Sent
You forward me related business materials (brochures,
direct mail, web pages, reports...), audience information
(demographics, studies, profiles...) and competitor information.
Me: Background Materials Studied
Before I write anything, I need to understand your product
or service...

- features
- Unique Selling Point (USP)
...your audience...
- motivations
- attitudes
- desires
...and the offer...
Us: Phone Interviews
When needed, phone interviews build on the information from the
background materials by mining your firsthand expertise and insight.
The salesperson with an ear to the ground is especially valuable.
Me: Producing The Copy
I write the copy. I email the copy to you as a WORD document
by the agreed upon deadline.
(Rough design suggestions may be included for your consideration.
If you're in need of a graphic designer or agency, I can recommend
one from my network of associates.)
Us: Revisions (if needed)
If revisions are needed, revisions are made...promptly. And the
original quoted price remains the same. The fine print on revision
requests:
- made within 30 days
- not based on a major change
- two rounds (after two rounds of revisions, my hourly
rate will apply)

Specifics
- I work by the project or by the hour.
- Hourly rates depend upon size of project. Contact me for details
at 778-327-7943 or copy@grantpasay.com.
- Require 60% deposit from new clients and for jobs over $2000.
- 'Rush fees' may be applied for jobs with deadlines of 48 hours
or less and/or falling on the weekend. All such fees will be
indicated up-front.
- If your project is 'killed' after the copy is written,
full payment is still required.
- If your project is 'killed' while the copy is being
written, payment is required for all hours dedicated to date.
- Good copy and a good time are not mutually exclusive.
My expectations are to enjoy the process, and I suspect you
will too.
- For non-Canadian clients:
- Youll be invoiced through my incorporated Canadian
company.
- All prices will be converted to U.S. funds.
- No additional taxes are involved.
- Payments can be made online using your credit card or
bank account.
- Payments can also be made through wire transfer.
